Meet Harper. PoshTots Catalogue Model. Little Ray of Sunshine. Priceless Treasure.

But life for Harper wasn’t always filled with hope. When posh pal Adéye first saw a photo of this tiny angel, she was in an orphanage in the Ukraine. Harper also has Down Syndrome and, once an orphaned special needs child reaches a certain age, they often end up in mental institutions. Sadly, Harper was just about to turn three and transfer to an institution seemed imminent. While Adéye had intended to travel to the orphanage to adopt another child, Hailee, she saw the bond between Hailee and Harper and knew what she and her husband had to do. One precious gift had now become two.
And so began a new chapter in Harper’s life – and Adéye’s.

Adéye and her family continue to raise awareness and funds for orphaned children in desperate need of loving families. Read more about Adéye, husband Anthony, their seven children (both adopted and biological) and Orphan Awareness Month here: http://www.nogreaterjoymom.com/ Adéye is truly an inspiration to her friends here at PoshTots and far beyond.

As Harper’s family continues to fill the pages of her life with love, we hope her story inspires you to live out loud. Because incredible things happen when you listen to your heart.

What a beautiful story. My husband and I adopted our daughters from Russia in 2004. When you choose to adopt from Eastern Europe, you begin to educate yourself as to what actually goes on within the institutions. What you learn is truly horrific. Adeye and Anthony, you have done an amazing thing and have truly saved lovely Harper. She is beautiful, and a gift that will keep giving for as long as she is on Earth. Thank you Posh Tots for spreading the word about children in need. I cannot imagine my life without my two girls and their former life is a million years in the past to them. -Trish, mother of Maria Alexa 13 and Anastacia Krista 17
